She has been certified twice as a HATHA yoga teacher and has been
teaching for over 5 years. She continues to study and expand her knowledge whenever possible. Her yoga class (all levels) is on Saturday mornings from 9-10 a.m. "You don't have to be a pretzel to
do yoga. You can start yoga at any age, weight or flexibility. Yoga is non-competitive and is not goal oriented and you work according to your own pace, flexibility and strength. And the more you practice, the more you
benefit. Yoga has helped me in all areas of my life."
In her spare time, Roberta is also involved in theater and directs and choreographs musical theater all around Orange County. She just finished
working with Opera Pacific (she's worked with them for about 12 years) staging THE EMPRESS AND THE NIGHTINGALE at the Irvine Barclay Theater. (Roberta comes to directing and choreographing from a career as a
singer/dancer since the age of 4 and has done hundreds of stage, television and nightclub shows.)
She's recently retired from KOCE, the Public Television station in Huntington Beach, where she was the
Director of Programming, responsible for what went on the air. For the past 15 years, she has also appeared as a host on the KOCE Pledge Drives, written and produced programs and won a Los Angeles Area Emmy Award for
acting in an education series.
