Michelle Laven began her entertainment career dancing at the age of three. She performed competitively in
ballet, jazz, and tap throughout the Southern California area. Out of high school, Michelle began teaching at a local dance studio in Downey. She spent the next 3 years choreographing recital numbers and
award winning competition routines. During this time, Michelle also had the opportunity to become a part of the Walt Disney Company as one of their world famous Disney characters. Professionally, she has
performed in such places as Cruise Lines, The Disneyland Resort in New York, Chicago, Florida, Canada, and Tokyo, Japan. Currently, she is attending the University of California, Irvine where she will be
graduating in the spring of 2007 holding a Bachelors Degree in Theatre with an emphasis on acting.
Some of Michelle's TV and film credits include: Disney's Year of a Million Dreams campaign,
Paris Disneyland, Taco Bell, and Chevrolet commercials, as well as Denise Austin's workout videos. She just finished filming a movie along side Jason Alexander and Steven Root that is currently in the production process. Michelle has also worked on numerous stage projects in Orange County and LA including
Our Town, Herocide, Me and My Girl, The Tempest, and La Celestina while being a part of a theatre company called Project Act. Her upcoming project will be performing in a production of Richard III
at the Nixon Theatre in Irvine. |
